Hands Against Hunger → Hope Boxes
Hope Begins with High-Protein Food
Every year, millions die from hunger—half of them children under 5. At A Child’s Hope Int’l, we believe that hope starts with nutrition. That’s why our Hands Against Hunger® meals are specially formulated by food scientists to help children survive today and thrive tomorrow. Since 2008, we've provided over 65 million high-protein meals to orphans and vulnerable children worldwide, thanks to generous volunteers and donors.
Each meal—packed into Hope Boxes®—costs 25 cents and is vegetarian, culturally accepted, easy to prepare, and rich in protein, vitamins, and essential nutrients. One packet feeds up to six small children and has a shelf life of three years. It’s one of the most affordable, effective ways to fight childhood hunger and bring hope to those who need it most.
Hope Sacks
Weekend Meals for Hungry Kids
In Ohio, nearly 1 in 5 children face food insecurity. While many rely on free or reduced-price meals at school, weekends can leave them hungry. That’s where Hope Sacks™ come in—providing nutritious weekend meals for students in Cincinnati who might otherwise go without.
With the rising cost of food, families are struggling more than ever. Hope Sacks help ensure that weekends become a time of nourishment and hope, not hunger. In partnership with local schools and organizations, A Child’s Hope Int’l delivers these meals directly to the children who need them most.
Currently, we’re providing 400 Hope Sacks weekly in Roll Hill, Heritage Hill Elementary (Princeton School District), South Avondale Middle, and Emmanuel Temple Church in Mt. Healthy
